Features of AU Credit Card

Some common features you can enjoy after applying for AU Bank Credit Card online.

  • Annual fees and renewal fees will vary for each cardholder depending on the card held and will be informed at the time of applying for the card.
  • Credit-free period up to 50 days is available. If the cardholder opts for revolving payment, then an interest as low as 1.9% p.m. will be applied on the balance carried forward.
  • Cash withdrawal charges at 2.5% of the amount withdrawn with a minimum of Rs. 500 will be collected.
  • Limit on the Credit Card will be fixed by AU bank based on several criteria and the limit has to be shared among the Add On members as well. The same will be informed to the cardholder at the time of delivering the card.
  • If the card is used beyond the limit, 2.5% of the over limit will be charged for all cards except Infinia.
  • A late fee ranging from Rs. 100 to Rs. 750 is applied per statement cycle for the card dues not paid in accordance to the due date.

Eligibility to Apply for a AU Credit Card?

The AU Bank has set the following eligibility criteria for availing its Credit Card facility:

  • The applicant can either be salaried or self-employed.
  • Applicant should be in the age group between 21 years to 60 years if salaried or between 21 years to 65 years if self-employed.
  • Should have a stable income.
  • Applicant should submit income proof, address proof, business proof, and Photo ID.
  • Credit score should be above 750.
 

Fee & Charges of AU Credit Card

Following are the fees and charges associated with AU Small Finance Bank credit cards:

  • Cash Advance Fee: 2.5% (minimum Rs. 100).
  • Charges on Revolving Credit: 3.49% per month (41.88% annually) for Vetta, 3.59% per month (43.08% annually) for LIT, Altura & Altura Plus, and 1.99% per month (23.88% annually) for Zenith. 
  • Late payment charges: For statement balance :
    • Up to Rs. 100 : Nil
    • Between Rs. 100 to Rs. 500 : Rs. 100
    • Between Rs. 500 to Rs. 5,000 : Rs. 500
    • Between Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 10,000  : Rs. 700
    • Between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 : Rs. 800
    • Between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 50,000 : Rs. 900
    • Over Rs. 50,000 Rs. 1,100
  • Overlimit Charges: 2.5% of over limit amount (minimum Rs. 500).
  • Cheque, ECS/NACH, Autopay return Charges: Rs. 500.
  • Balance Transfer/BT on EMI Processing Charges: 1% of the transfer amount (minimum Rs. 250).
  • Loan Processing Fee: 1% (minimum Rs. 500). 
  • Loan Preclosure Charge: 3% of the principal outstanding.
  • EMI Conversion Charges: 1% (minimum Rs. 99 + GST) for Xpress EMI and Rs. 199 + GST for Instant EMI.
  • Card Validation Charges (lounges): Rs. 2.
  • Priority Pass Lounge Charges (Vetta & Zenith): $27 + taxes for all visits within India. 
  • Reissuance of Lost/ Stolen/ Damaged Card: Rs. 100.
  • Outstation Cheque Processing Charges: Rs. 25.
  • Foreign Currency Transactions: 3.49% for Altura, Altura Plus, and LIT, 2.99% for Vetta, and 1.99% for Zenith.
  • Duplicated Physical Statement Request Charges: Rs. 100.
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST): 18% applicable on all AU Small Bank credit card fees, interest & charges.
 

Documents Required for AU Credit Card

For Salaried employees

  • 2 photographs of the applicant in passport size.
  • ITR records from the last two years.
  • Proof of identity such as the applicant’s Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License
  • Proof of Residential Address such as Registered Rent Agreement/ Leave and License/ Utility Bill of at least three months/ Passport.
  • Proof of Income such as last six months’ salary slip, Form 16 of two years, Bank statement of previous six months (that reflects salary is credited or EMI is debited).
 

For Self-Employed

  • 2 photographs of the applicant in passport size.
  • Proof of identity such as the applicant’s Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License.
  • Proof of Residential Address such as Registered Rent Agreement/ Leave and License/ Utility Bill of at least three months/ Passport.
  • Proof of Business like GST/ Service Tax Registration/ company’s incorporation details/ Address proof of the business/ accounts and balance sheets showing profit and loss statements which have been certified by a CA/ the proof of the business’ existence/ a copy of the partnership deed and business profile.
